Expert Seasonal Cleanups & Maintenance in Kemah, League City, Clear Lake, Galveston & Houston TX

We are a design and installation firm first, and our maintenance programs reflect that. We don't do routine mowing. What we do is quarterly cleanups, seasonal color rotations, bed maintenance, mulch refreshing, and the kind of detail work that keeps an installed landscape looking intentional long after we finish building it. Each visit is done with a designer's eye: we spot plants that need replacing, beds that need edging, and seasonal color that's ready to rotate out. We also source from local Texas growers whenever possible, which means fresher plants, better-adapted stock, and support for the Gulf Coast nursery community we've been part of for over 30 years. We also install sod, which is a different job than mowing and one we're regularly asked to do. When a yard needs a full reset, whether it's bare dirt after construction, dead patches from a bad summer, or grass that never took the first time, we grade the area, prep the soil, and lay fresh sod so it roots properly instead of just looking good for a few weeks. We install St. Augustine and Zoysia, both of which hold up to Gulf Coast heat and humidity far better than a generic seed mix, across League City, Dickinson, Webster, Friendswood, and the rest of the Bay Area. Mulch installation is the most underrated job on this list. A proper hardwood mulch layer, laid at real depth after the beds are weeded and edged, holds soil moisture through a Gulf Coast August, keeps heavy clay from crusting over, and slows down weed pressure that never fully stops in a climate with a growing season this long. Laid thin, it washes into the driveway with the first serious rain and does none of that. We handle mulch installation and seasonal refresh across Webster, League City, Dickinson, Friendswood, and Clear Lake, either as a one-time job or on a recurring schedule. Clean edges are what separate a maintained yard from a nice one. We cut and hold crisp lines between beds, lawn, and hardscape using steel edging, limestone, landscape curbing, or a cut natural edge, depending on the look. Lawn edging and flower bed edging cost very little next to the rest of a landscape budget and they change how the whole property reads from the street. It is the first thing we do on most maintenance visits. Weed control in our program is bed-focused and hands-on: pulling and cutting back what has come up, restoring mulch depth so less germinates next time, and treating problem areas where a weed has established a real foothold. Flower bed maintenance rounds it out, with deadheading, cutting back spent growth, seasonal color rotation, and replacing anything that did not survive a hard freeze or a brutal summer. We run these visits across League City, Friendswood, Webster, Clear Lake, Kemah, and Dickinson.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do regular mowing?

No. We focus on design, installation, and quarterly maintenance cleanups. We leave routine mowing to lawn care specialists so we can stay focused on what we do best.

Do you install sod?

Yes. Sod installation is a one-time project, not routine mowing, so it's part of what we do. We grade the yard, prep the soil, and lay St. Augustine or Zoysia sod across League City, Dickinson, Webster, Friendswood, and the rest of the Bay Area.

What does a quarterly cleanup include?

Each visit covers bed weeding and edging, mulch refresh, trimming overgrown plants, assessing plant health, and rotating seasonal color as needed.

How do you handle Gulf Coast storm damage cleanup?

We offer storm cleanup as part of our maintenance programs: debris removal, damaged plant assessment, and emergency bed restoration after major weather events.

Do you do mulch installation?

Yes. We install and refresh hardwood and pine straw mulch across Webster, League City, Dickinson, Friendswood, and Clear Lake. Beds get weeded and edged first, then mulched at the depth that actually holds moisture and slows weeds. Available as a one-time job or on a recurring schedule.

How deep should mulch be in a Gulf Coast bed?

Around three inches for most beds, kept pulled back a few inches from plant stems and tree trunks. Thinner than that and it does not hold moisture or block light from weed seeds. Much thicker and you start suffocating roots in our heavy clay soil.

Do you do lawn edging and flower bed edging?

Yes, and it is the first thing we do on most maintenance visits. We cut and hold clean lines between beds, lawn, and hardscape using steel edging, limestone, landscape curbing, or a cut natural edge. It costs very little next to the rest of a landscape budget and changes how the whole property reads.

Do you offer weed control?

Yes, bed-focused and hands-on. We pull and cut back what has come up, restore mulch depth so less germinates next round, and treat problem areas where a weed has established a real foothold. We are not a spray-the-whole-lawn service.

What does flower bed maintenance include?

Weeding, clean edging, mulch refresh, deadheading and cutting back spent growth, seasonal color rotation, and replacing anything that did not survive a hard freeze or a rough summer. It is the work that keeps an installed bed looking the way it did the week we finished it.
